The Ceremony: Andrew and Michelle’s wedding ceremony was held at one of my favourite ceremony locations in Sydney, Captain Henry Waterhouse Reserve, Kirribilli. This reserve boasts spectacular waterfront views of the Sydney Opera House, the city and the harbour bridge.

Andrew and Michelle live in the US so we created their entire ceremony and attended to the legal side of things over Skype and email. The week before the wedding they arrived in Sydney with Andrew’s 5 year old son August. We met, completed the necessary paperwork and had a rehearsal. It was so much fun. Andrew and Michelle are a super easy going couple and new exactly how they wanted to celebrate their day.

The vows that they wrote to each other were some of the most beautiful and moving vows I have heard – and I’ve heard a few!!

After the ceremony the guests enjoyed drinks and canapés at the reserve, then a private ferry picked them up at Jeffrey St wharf which took them on a ride on Sydney Harbour, followed by an intimate reception at Wolfies in The Rocks.
