Couple’s name: Corey and Esther McCosh

Location of ceremony: Horizons at South Maroubra NSW

Theme/Colour: Vintage spring wedding. Yellow as accent colour.

Feel of Ceremony: ‘That we are able to sum up our connection to each other through word and song, and that it is light hearted with a touch of humour.’

Dress code: Cocktail

Number of guests: 100

Time of wedding: 12.30pm

Brides dress: Esther restyled her mothers wedding dress. Esther has told me that in her eyes it also wearing her mother’s dress symbolized to her the strength of marriage.

Poem / Readings: 3 in total The Art of Marriage by Wilfred Arlan Peterson, All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten by Robert Fulghum and a Catholic blessing.

Ritual: Tree planting ritual. They wanted to include this ritual because they are both nature lovers and Esther is a landscape gardener. The tree they planted was a white Magnolia.

Music: Esther walked down the aisle to ‘Count on me’ by Bruno Mars. Signing the registry ‘Love, Love, Love’ by Avalanche City. At the end of the ceremony Corey and Esther walked back up the aisle together ‘Feel the love’ by Rudimental.

Reception: Horizons at South Maroubra.

The Ceremony: Corey and Esther’s ceremony was super relaxed and their choice of ceremony location (at the beach in Maroubra) was a perfect setting for the nature loving couple. Guests were welcomed with a glass of champagne which they sipped throughout the ceremony.

Here we a laughing because a stray dog ran down the aisle, plonked himself between us and decided to do some business!

Corey and Esther – a wonderful couple so so in love! Check out their testimonial here
