The Ceremony: I first met Ian at a business course in Sydney and then again with, (at the time his girlfriend) Kate at another business course in Fiji. Kate and I became instant friends. On the last night of the business course in Fiji, Ian proposed to Kate and the very next day they asked me if I would marry them. “Of course!” I said and they started planning their wedding.
Ian being a golf fanatic decided that they would have their ceremony and reception at his beloved Western Australian Golf Club, in Perth Western Australia. He managed to fit in a round of golf with his best man and close mates before the nuptials, whilst Kate was being pampered with her girls in a hotel close by.
The wedding day was simply stunning. The ceremony was held outside the Tudor clubhouse overlooking the superb fairways, greens and a picturesque lake. Beyond the lake was a fabulous view to the city and Darling Ranges. One of Kate’s daughter’s Meghan presented a reading and Ian coudn’t stop sneaking kisses to his beautiful bride making everyone laugh.
After the ceremony the celebrations continued. Moet was poured well into the night and the wedding cake – a magnificent croquembouche looked spectacular amongst the sophisticated and elegant styling of their reception. Congratulations Kate and Ian!
