Relaxed couple Karolina and Dave had their Ring Warming Wedding Ceremony on crisp, cloudless, blue sky autumn afternoon on the Manly Scenic Walkway, in Fairlight, NSW. We stood on the edge of the walkway’s cliff overlooking Fairlight beach, out through the heads and beyond to the ocean, it was breathtaking!
Twenty of Karolina and Dave’s closest friends and family were invited. It was very apparent the love and respect Karolina’s and Dave’s guests had for them.
Karolina looked beautiful in her intricately beaded ivory gown. She also wore the finest off white matching pashmina I have ever seen, (it was so luxurious)! Dave looked quite the part in his black velvet morning coat and emerald cravat.
They wanted a fun ceremony so we included a Ring Warming ritual. This ritual is when the wedding rings are passed from guest to guest for each to hold for a moment to give their personal blessing. Watching the rings ‘warmed’ by those you love the most, is quite a special moment for any couple, as you can hear and see the expressions on your family and friends faces when it is their turn to hold the rings as they wish them much love, happiness, good health, joy, laughter, good fortune etc.
After the ceremony we all celebrated with champagne until the sun went down. It was such a lovely afternoon. Karolina and Dave are such a wonderful couple and their love for each other is beautiful. We will be friends for life!
